Why MultiChats Memories Are Better

Per-Folder Memories

Set different context for different projects. Your coding folder remembers your tech stack, your writing folder remembers your style guide.

Per-Thread Selection

Choose which memories apply to each conversation. Granular control means no irrelevant context leaking between topics.

Works Across ALL Models

Your memories personalize GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, and every other model. Not locked to one provider.

Tags Support (Coming Soon)

Organize memories with tags for even faster retrieval and more precise context matching.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are AI memories?

AI memories are pieces of information your AI assistant stores about you across conversations: your preferences, projects, tools you use, communication style, and more. They make your AI experience personalized and consistent.

Can I import memories from any AI assistant?

We provide step-by-step guides for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Le Chat (Mistral), and Perplexity. The process involves exporting your preferences from your current assistant and recreating them as memories in MultiChats.

Is there an automatic import feature?

Currently, memory migration is a manual process. You export from your current AI and create memories in MultiChats. We're working on automated import tools to make this even easier in the future.

Will my memories work across all models?

Yes! Unlike other platforms where memories only work with one provider's models, MultiChats memories work across GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, and every other model, giving you consistent personalization everywhere.

How are MultiChats memories organized?

MultiChats has a 3-level memory system: general memories that apply everywhere, folder-level memories for project-specific context, and per-chat memories for individual conversation context. This gives you granular control over which memories apply where.

Can I import memories on mobile?

Yes! The MultiChats iOS and Android apps support memory import. Go to Profile > Memories > Import. Export from your current AI on desktop or mobile, then paste the result into the MultiChats app.

Is my memory data private?

Absolutely. Your memories are stored securely and are only used to personalize your conversations. They are never shared with third parties or used to train AI models.
